Homerton Netball

Netball at Homerton has a supportive and encouraging community who all share a love for the game.

At Homerton, we have both a women's and mixed netball team, who train at our Long Road sports ground. Both teams get together once a week and play matches in their respective leagues at the weekend, alternating between home and away fixtures. Each year they compete in the Cuppers tournament which takes place towards the end of Lent term. This is an opportunity to play teams from across all leagues, starting with group stages then knock out matches.

"We’re a friendly and relaxed group so training sessions are always enjoyable. At matches, players throw all their energy and determination into the game, aiming to win, (whilst having fun of course)! Netball is a dynamic game and develops a range of different skills from physical fitness to teamwork. It's also a great way to take a break from studying, unwind and see different faces."
