Alumni benefits

Dining

Alumni are welcome to join us for lunch in Hall - there is no need to book. Please be aware that you will need to pay in cash for your meal. You are also very welcome to eat in the Buttery or have a drink in the Griffin Bar.

Formal Halls, on Tuesdays in full term, are also open to alumni where space permits. Please contact the Development Office by the preceding Wednesday to book your place. There is a charge of £24 for alumni, and £22.50 for non-alumni guests.

Staying at Homerton

Alumni can book overnight accommodation in College when space allows, by emailing alumni@homerton.cam.ac.uk. The bedrooms available are single, en-suite student rooms, usually in South Court or West House.

We're usually able to accommodate alumni outside term time. During term this may not always be possible, as the needs of our current students must take priority.

Visiting the grounds

The grounds are open to alumni at any time - please let the Porters know you are visiting when you arrive. If you would like to have a picnic or to take engagement photographs, please contact the Development Office three days in advance and we will help you plan your visit.

College Library

Alumni are welcome to read, work or study in the College Library, but may not take books away. If you wish to use the Library, please notify the Librarian in advance.

Benefits provided by the University of Cambridge

A CAMCard, issued by the University Alumni Relations Office, provides membership of The University Centre and entitles you to discounts from Cambridge University Press, local hotels, restaurants and more.

The CAMCard also entitles you and up to three guests to free entrance to all Colleges when they are open to the general public. Please note that fewer guests are permitted at King's and St John's (two guests with the CAMCard holder) and Queens' (one guest only).

If you don't currently have a CAMCard and you'd like one, you can request one online.

Alumni can also sign up for cantab.net, the University's email for life service.
