Andrew read Natural Sciences at Homerton (2015-2018) and then completed a PhD in evolutionary biology at Christ’s College (2018-2022). His doctoral research looked at how different populations can adapt to different environmental conditions despite ongoing gene flow. Andrew is interested in developing new statistical techniques to solve problems in historical ecology.

Andrew is an experienced supervisor, teaching evolutionary biology to second and third-year students as part of the Natural Sciences Tripos. Andrew was elected a Bye-Fellow at Homerton College in 2023 in recognition of his contributions to teaching and outreach.
