Philosophy resources

"Don’t stop at exploring the subject’s content; engage with the subject’s method too. Start a research diary and take on a particular issue which you are interested in. Clarify the problem in terms of a question, and record the most salient arguments together with responses and counterarguments. Many budding philosophers find reading the work of professional philosophers helpful. Take note on how they use examples, terminology and signposting. Remember that this kind of work should be fun!" -Dr. Jon Phelan, Director of Studies in Philosophy
