Cambridge University Undergraduate Open Days

8:30, 4 July 2024 - 16:30, 5 July 2024
Homerton College

Do take the opportunity to visit Homerton College during the Cambridge University Open Days on 4th and 5th July 2024. Set in extensive grounds and located just a 10 minute walk from the railway station, Homerton is an ideal choice for the beginning or end of your trip to Cambridge.

Visitors are welcome to drop in at Homerton between 8.30am-4.30pm on the Open Day.  There will plenty of students on hand to answer your questions and to give you a personal tour around the College and grounds. At 10am we will be hosting a talk 'Introduction to Cambridge University and Homerton College' from our Admissions Tutor with a welcome from our Principal. We will also be offering refreshments throughout the day.

Find out more about the Open Days and book your place here. Bookings open in April 2024.

On arrival at the College, please make your way to our Welcome Desk in the Porters’ Lodge. Please look out for our friendly Homerton Student Ambassadors (wearing bright blue t-shirts!) who will welcome you. Further information on finding Homerton is included below.

Finding Homerton

You can get to us on foot in 10 minutes from the station or in 10 minutes by bus from the centre of Cambridge - there are multiple bus services which run from the city centre and the train station to Homerton. We would recommend getting the Universal Bus which will give you access to the main university sites all day for £3.50 with a day ticket. The majority of services stop outside the main gates to the College - look out for the bright red Griffin on the side of our college, along with our Open Day banner, when you arrive!

If you come by car then you are welcome to park in our Visitors’ Car Park, located at the bottom of Harrison Drive. School groups travelling by minibus or coach are advised to speak to the Admissions Team (admissions@homerton.cam.ac.uk) in advance to make parking/drop off arrangements.

You can also find a range of information, 360-degree photography, articles and videos from all Colleges and departments in the University's Virtual Tour. This is a great way to hear directly from staff and students and provides an insight into the collegiate University and what it’s like to study here.
