A friendly reminder about the following, as we are always happy to help:

  1. Contacting the Admissions Office at Homerton
     - When emailing the Admissions Office, we do ask that offer holders always put the following information in the subject line of your email when writing to us:
    Lastname_Firstname_UCAS ID_Subject_QueryDetails
     - Please ensure that you get in touch with us directly. We value your data and privacy and are not able to liaise with your teachers, parents and/or guardians. We appreciate your understanding.

  2. Receiving emails from the Admissions Office at Homerton:
Please keep a look out for emails from the Admissions Office at Homerton as we will be sending our offer holders emails over the course of the next few months, with important information and reminders. We will post in the box here, to let you know when an email has been sent out. We will communicate with all offer holders via the email address provided in the UCAS application. It’s essential that your email account is configured correctly so that emails sent from the College aren’t rejected or filtered into your 'junk'/'spam' folder by your email provider (you should check this folder regularly, as well as your inbox). As the College will contact you from Admissions [at] homerton.cam.ac.uk, please ensure that this email address is:
ADDED to your email client's Contact List
ADDED to your email client's Safe Sender List (if available)
REMOVED from your email client's Block Sender List.

    3. We ask offer holders to please always ensure that their email address is working correctly, they are able to receive emails from the Admissions Office, and they do not have any of the following issues:
     - your email system is not accepting emails from us. What to do?
Change your email address at UCAS to a personal one rather than a school one
It is recommended to change your email address at UCAS to a personal one rather than a school one, as the school spam filters tend to be more robust and it is likely that some of our emails to you may be blocked.  We don't want you to miss out on any important email communication during the application process.
    - your mailbox is full and can't accept any new email messages. What to do?
To empty your mailbox, you can do the following depending on your provider:
    - Archive or delete selected mail by clicking the appropriate icon in Gmail.
    - Clean up Outlook inbox using the Mailbox Cleanup tool.
    - Delete duplicate emails.
    - Auto-empty Deleted Items folder on Outlook restart.
    - Manually archive your old emails.
    - Delete any old messages you no longer need from the Inbox or other folders.
    - Check the SPAM folder for any emails needed, then ‘select all’ and ’empty’ to clear the Spam folder to
remove them completely from the server and free up space in your account.
    - Delete all the emails in your Spam or Junk folder and empty your Trash.
    - Set custom storage limits for all your folders so that emails are only retained for a certain period, then
       automatically deleted.
